After your first massage, you may experience tenderness or light bruising in areas that were worked during the massage. This is dependent on the type of massage received, interval since the last massage, and intensity of the massage.
It is recommended to all our patients to increase their fluid intake by at least 20 ounces the following massage to help flush toxins and reduce soreness.

Yes. There are certain conditions that may cause a therapist to exclude certain areas of the body from treatment and there are also certain conditions that exclude a therapist from performing massage altogether.

No massage will be performed on person with uncontrolled hypertension(high blood pressure), shock, acute pneumonia, toxemia, flu or fever, or on persons who are under the influence of certain medications, drugs or alcohol.

Please notify your therapist if you have had or currently have: any skin condition (acne, eczema, impetigo, rashes, etc.), abnormal body temperature ( > 99.4 F ), acute infections disease, inflammatory joint disease, osteoporosis, aneurysm, pitting edema, cancer, high blood pressure, history of clots or stroke, taking pain medications or muscle relaxers, hernia, diabetes, heart or lung disease.

If you book a massage online, you are scheduling a time and day with the therapist. Payments will only be taken after the service is received. Payments are processed through Square and Venmo on site.
